Outline of data	昭和11年9月から旧日本勧業銀行が宅地価格を調査し「市街地価格指数」としてとりまとめていたものを、昭和34年3月から日本不動産研究所が承継し、実施。全国主要198都市で選定された宅地の調査地点について、日本不動産研究所の不動産鑑定士等が年2回価格調査を行い、これらを基に指数化。全国、六大都市、地方別等の区分で、用途別の土地価格指数を公表している。
