| Outline of data | 福井県鯖江市の地理・地形データ。以下、概要抜粋。 本市は福井県の中央に位置し、北は福井市、南は越前市と隣接している。東西は19.2km、南北は8.3kmにわたり、面積は84.59k㎡である。市のやや西部を日野川が南北に流れており、東方から西に流れる河和田川が、南方から流れる鞍谷川と合流して浅水川となり、この日野川に合流している。東部は三方が山地に囲まれた盆地、中央部は西山を中心とした丘陵地、西部は平野となっており、越前平野の一部を形成している。山地のふもとに集落があり、中央部の丘陵地から西は日野川、東は国道８号線沿線にかけ南北に市街地を形成している。 本市は、関西圏・中部圏と北陸圏を結ぶＪＲ北陸本線沿いにあり、国道8号と417号が縦・横断し、大阪から197㎞、名古屋から166㎞、金沢から90㎞の地点にある。 |
