| Outline of data | 秋田美人の一番の特徴は肌の色の白さ。年間の日照時間が日本一少ないということも影響しているようである。（1966年、秋田県湯沢市の医師である杉本が、女性の色の白さの計測結果を文藝春秋 (雑誌)8月号で発表した。秋田県南三郡 30.5% 秋田県全体 29.6% 日本人平均 22.0% 白人 40.5%）日照時間の多さ日本一（都道府県別）は山梨県で2249時間、一報秋田県は1453時間。ちなみに秋田美人の代名詞となっているのが、秋田県出身とされる「小野小町（世界三大美人の一人）」。その影響もあり秋田では「こまち」とつくものがとても多くなっている。 もうひとつのデータとして、秋田は人口あたりの美容室・理容室の数が日本一。女性の身だしなみという点でも秋田美人と言われる所以なのかもしれない。 |
