Outline of data	秋田県は農家の人口比率が岩手県について全国第2位（19.0％H22「農林水産省「農林業センサス」）、また水陸稲の収穫量が512,100ｔ（Ｈ２３農林水産省「水陸稲の収穫量」）と、北海道、新潟県に次いで第3位である。また一農家当たり経営耕地面積も2.39haと、北海道に次いで第2いいとなっている。お米の供給基地として秋田県は復興に資することが可能である。
