| Outline of data | 火山が多い秋田県は地熱発電所も多く、全国１７ヶ所のうち、澄川（すみかわ）、大沼（おおぬま）、上の岱（うえのたい）の３ヶ所の地熱発電所がある。地熱発電所は、地下約２５００メートルも井戸を掘って地中に蓄えられた蒸気を取り出し、蒸気の力でタービンを回して発電機を動かしている。認可出力は88,300Kwで大分、岩手についで国内第３位。澄川、大沼、上の岱の３か所の発電所がある。 |
